Steady Cam Build

Steady cam made out of 3/8" steel pipes with a pivoting tripod head and noise-free mic holder.

Decapitated a thrift store tripod and drilled 1/4" hole.

Drilled a 1/4" hole with screw threads into the endpiece of the pipe at my friend's machine shop.

Connected the two with a 1/4" machine screw. Epoxy for stability.

Small tin can with both ends removed -->screws poking out hold the rubber bands --> rubber bands hold the mic.

Hotshoe mount.

Finished product.
